The Social Co-operative “Nella” was founded in 1983, named after a lady from Saint-Vincent who dedicated her whole life to voluntary work. This association deals with integrating disabled people into the working world and acts as a socio-educational reference point over the whole Valle d’Aosta.

As regards handicraft using traditional materials, this consist mainly in wooden flowers and small leather objects. Work is made to order for prize-giving, club parties, etc. The wooden flowers are completely handmade, from cutting to assembly and are all made by members of the co-operative.
