Marguerettaz Cesare
Sculpture

Cesare Marguerettaz defines himself as an “animal sculptor”.

In 1990 he attended a sculpture course in Sarre, where he learnt to make human figures, but his real vocation is animals, whether wild or domestic. First he started making “tatà” (toy horses), and began exhibiting at St. Ours’ Fair in 1992.
Since 2000 Marguerattaz has spent all his time dedicated to sculpture and music, his other great love.

Horses, mules, chamois, wolves, wild boar, foxes, cows; no animal is favoured... Each piece is characteristic, each animal expresses something particular and unique.

Marguerettaz’s works can be seen at the “Ombra de Mé” workshop in via Maillet (a side road of via E. Aubert) in Aosta.

This workshop is part of “Chemin des Artisans”.
